Your Father in Heaven loves you
As someone who was born in the church, I have always felt the need to always do what is right which is kind of impossible right? I've had times where I've drifted away from Heavenly Father because of sin. A time where I felt I was too imperfect for His love. But as time went on fortunately, I remembered how important the Atonement of Jesus Christ is and how badly I needed it at that time.
The atonement of Jesus Christ is another sign that Heavenly Father loves each of His children with a perfect love no matter how imperfect they are. I know it hurts him when those that know the truth ignore it for the pleasures of the world but more importantly, I know that He is more concerned of the people that we are becoming. So, like the famous scripture in Ether 12:27 I know that He indeed can turn our weaknesses into strengths.
When you are willing to listen and act upon that which you know to be truth no matter how many times you've fallen, no matter how hard it is, your Father in Heaven is always there waiting to help you. I know that it requires patience because not every prayer receives an instant answer. And that right there my friend, is how we practice faith.
The commandments of the Lord are there for our safety and peace. I know that if we strive to obey them that we will be more happier and spiritually strengthened. The restored gospel of Jesus Christ is a huge blessing and another sign that God loves you and I. The teachings of the gospel of Jesus Christ helps us draw closer to God. The Book of Mormon is the word of God and like Joseph Smith, anyone can find that out for themselves.
Heavenly Father has provided us with so many tools to enable us to become better versions of ourselves and to one day return back to live in His presence again. I know that the gospel of Jesus Christ brings hope. I know that if we make the effort to do what is right and repent every day that we will be blessed with more strength. I am grateful to know that I am not alone. I am even more grateful to know that I have a Father in Heaven who loves me.
