I see the hand of God in my life through little instances that don't seem like a big deal initially but remind me that He is always aware of me and cares about my wants and needs. For example, last week I had to run to the store to prepare for a relief society activity, which was about to start right after my visit to the store. In the chaos of buying what I needed and driving over to the activity, I realized I had lost my wallet. I rushed back to the store and frantically looked all over the parking lot but could not find it. After several anxiety-ridden minutes, I determined that I needed to figure it out later and focus on getting to the relief society activity. On the way there I prayed that some nice person would find my wallet and turn it into the store's customer service department. I went to the activity, trusting that Heavenly Father would help me through the situation, one way or another. About 15 minutes after I got the activity set up, I got a call from the store saying that they had found my wallet. I felt instant relief and gratitude to God, knowing that He had answered my prayer when I needed it. From this and other experiences, I know that God is in the details of our lives. And I know that if He will answer a prayer about something as menial as a missing wallet, He will help us with the big decisions in our lives as well. I know He loves us and wants us to be happy. He loved us enough to send His own son to suffer and die so we could have a second chance to become more than what we are and to reach our full potential. I love my Heavenly Father and my Savior and I hope I can show them that by keeping their commandments.
