Not Just to Him, But With Him

There is a God. He is my Father. My relationship with Him has become stronger as I have made an effort to come to know him. Through heartfelt prayer, I have been able to talk with Him. Not just to Him, but with Him. During moments in my life when I felt great or in moments when I felt hopeless, my Father in Heaven has provided me with the counsel and comfort that I needed in each unique situation.

In my efforts to get to know His Son, I have learned and am still learning the depth of my Father's love. As I have studied the words of prophets, who have seen Christ face to face, I have come to know the Son, who is one with the Father. As I have sought a greater understanding of the Atonement of Jesus Christ, I have begun to comprehend what John means when he said that God "loved the world".

While I have not seen the Father or the Son, I have felt the Holy Ghost, their messenger to us. The Holy Spirit has confirmed and continues to confirm both temporal and spiritual truths. The joy and warmth that radiates from the Spirit has provided a foundation for my belief in my Savior Jesus Christ.

Finally, as I have made a purposeful effort to strive to be like the Savior, I have come to know Him and the Father. By loving my neighbor, I have felt the love that my Father in Heaven and His Only Begotten Son have for me. I do not fear, because I know that Deity is near. God has used me to bless others. God has also used others to bless me. He is still very much involved not with our world, but with our lives. He cares for you just as much as He cares for me. I love Him. I love the Savior Jesus Christ. My Redeemer. Our Advocate with the Father. The promised Messiah of antiquity. He lives. I know that without a doubt.
