Who Is Our Biggest Supporter

I have a firm testimony in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, I have seen the power of Christ’s ultimate sacrifice in my life. Thanks to Him, I am who I am today. I have made plenty of mistakes throughout my life, but I know that Jesus Christ loves me and died for me and can help me bounce back on my feet when I am down. I have gained my faith in Jesus Christ as I have read the Book of Mormon and the Bible. I have prayed to know of the truths that are found within those sacred books, and I have felt the indescribable power of the Holy Ghost confirming to me their truths. I know that Joseph Smith was a called prophet of God and that through him God revealed and brought back many lost truths to the earth. I know that Christ lives and loves me. He wants me and the rest of us to succeed in all we do.

What Path Leads to True Happiness?

I have been raised in the church. Since I was a little girl I attended to Sunday meetings with my family, read the scriptures and prayed with them. It was a normal part of my life, I didn't stop to think why did I live that way.

With time, I started to make my own decisions. I started to learn about agency by using it. I could have taken other paths, and that's when I needed to search for my own testimony. That knowledge is the strength that helps me keep walking. I have felt very strongly in my life that the gospel of Jesus Christ my parents taught me is the only path that leads God's children to true happiness. I treasure it. Even if some other ways seem to bring temporary happiness, I know in my heart that He is the only way that we can achieve joy, not only in the future life, but right now. Everyone can get to know this. God loves all of his children, and He is here to help us in the journey. I love my Heavenly Father and my Savior Jesus Christ. I love this gospel. The promises are real, and no matter how hard our trials can seem, I know we shall have peace in him.

What Binds Us Together As Human Beings?

I know that the gospel is the true happiness. It is what binds us together as human beings. As well it is what keeps us connected with heavenly father and Jesus Christ. The gospel is not just a movie but is rather a way of life. It is what helps us stay connected to what really matters in this life. We come to understand that we are not judged by what we have not how “cool” we are but rather what we have to offer to people and our true commitment to follow Jesus Christ.  The Gospel teaches three fundamentals that are key to happiness in this life: read the Scriptures, constant prayer with true intent, and offering service to other people. We talk about these things constantly, but when we actually put them into action, we see results. We see what it’s like to have true peace and happiness. As we strive to help others win against other battles, we find ourselves. God loves us and that’s why he has chosen to restore the Church through Joseph Smith and allow us to have it in our lives. True friendships are key to a happy life. Learn about what the savior did and apply it in your life! It’s not easy but worth it! Trials and tribulations are here to help us become who god sees us as! The lord's will is always the right way.
In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

He Is Mighty to Save

I believe in Jesus Christ. He is the Savior and Redeemer of the world and the Only Begotten Son of the Father.  And I know that He is mighty to save. His mercy is the sweetest joy that a human can feel in this or any life. Though we did not, do not, and never will deserve His mercy, He gives it anyway, because He loves us. I know He lives, and that He appeared to the prophet Joseph Smith with the purpose of restoring the truths, powers, and blessings of old to His children today. I know without a doubt that this is His church, led by the Living Christ Himself. He leaves it in the care of His chosen prophet, President Nelson, and the Apostles, men who I sustain with all my heart and mind. I testify that Lord can make us better. He's made me better, to the point that I know He has made me a new person. And I will never cease to praise and serve Him for His mercy towards me.

A Testimony's Progression

I have a testimony that God lives and He loves us. He is our Heavenly Father and as such He wants us to be happy. I know that He created a plan that, if we live by it, will bring us peace and happiness. I know that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the Savior of the world. I came to know these things through the Book of Mormon, I have received answers to my prayers concerning the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon and I know that it is the word of God given to help us know His plan. Through the Book of Mormon I have also come to know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true. It was restored by the prophet Joseph Smith and is still led by a prophet today, Russell M Nelson.

Without a Doubt

I feel like in my life there are only truly a couple of things I know without a doubt in my mind. I know without a doubt that Jesus is the Christ. I know He loves us and cares for us and watches over us. But not only does He love us, He loves me, personally. I know that through Him we can be forgiven of our sins but, not only that, the beautiful thing about the gospel is that we can become better! Knowing that I can change and be a different person, that I can be better is so comforting to me. Christ has always been my constant through the good and the bad, the ups and the downs. It's not easy for me to remember that always and I catch myself forgetting what He has done for me and that He is there. But as I look back and wonder how I ever made it through the trails I've been through I am humbled to know that He is always there carrying me. I love my Savior.

How Do We Receive His Grace?

I know that God is our loving Heavenly Father. His Son, Jesus Christ, lived, died and was resurrected so that we would have the opportunity to follow Him and return to our Celestial home. He is our merciful Savior and Redeemer. His gospel was restored to the earth and is directed today through a living prophet. The Book of Mormon is the word of God and another testament of Christ’s love for us. Our Savior truly does know us and loves us perfectly and His grace is sufficient for all who humbly strive to follow Him.

How Can We Feel Heavenly Father Closer In Our Lives?

There is a God in Heaven who is our father. He has a perfect plan for all of us, and wants us to be like him. As we live the commandments, we learn to live some of the laws that God lives by, and therefore we are able to come closer to him and know him better. Central to his plan is Jesus Christ. Because he suffered the atonement he knows the physical, mental, and emotional pains we go through, and he can heal us. He knows the fear of guilt and the embarrassment of mistakes, and he can lift us up. He died for us, was resurrected and he lives. He lives and guides his church through a living prophet and apostles today. I know these things to be true because I have experienced the healing and the lifting power of Christ, and I have felt the closeness of Heavenly Father as I obey his commandments.

Where Do We Find Eternal Truth?

I think the thing that I have always had the strongest testimony about is that the Book of Mormon is true. I have no doubt that it is God’s word, written by His prophets, and that the principles it teaches are eternal truths that, if followed, will improve lives. The Book of Mormon helps us know Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ better and helps us to become more like them.

Can We Do Anything With the Help of Christ?

I believe that Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer and that we can do anything with the help of Christ. I believe that we are supposed to have hard times and trials in this life to strengthen us and help us grow. I believe that our Heavenly Father and Christ have a plan for each and every one of us and as we strive to do our best to be like Christ and keep the commandments, God will keep us on the path that he has planned for us. I also believe that the way to be the happiest in this life and the life to come is to strive to follow Christ’s example. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

We Are Asked to Keep Trying

Heavenly Father loves us. He is aware of our circumstances and never leaves us alone. Even amidst our darkest trials, He doesn't leave us comfortless. We are here to gain experience to learn to discern for ourselves, and to know the good from bad.

I know that we are going to make mistakes and face difficult situations, and I know that the atonement of Jesus Christ allows us to become perfected eventually. We are asked to keep trying. Never give up on yourself or the Lord.

I Am Enough?

Earlier this week, I heard someone perfectly phrase my feelings about the saying, "I am enough." He said, "I am not actually enough. And that's okay, because the real liberating truth is that I don't have to be, because He is." I know that though I make mistakes, God is forgiving, and Christ's grace is sufficient that I can make daily change and improvement. I know that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that he is my Advocate with the Father, and that He perfectly understands how to comfort me in my greatest times of need. He's also there with me in moments for rejoicing. For this I am so grateful. I am grateful that He comes to me where I am, and lifts me to higher and holier ground. I know that my Redeemer lives, what comfort this sweet sentence gives.

I See God When...

The Book of Mormon is the best gift from God to mankind. All we have to do is read it to learn good from evil. This little blue book (given to me by the best missionary ever) opened new doors to me and made me discover new ways to understand His infinite wisdom, also thanks to Christ I could build a sense of community and repentance I've never witnessed before. I am grateful for having the opportunity to be a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and having the belief of a God that not only speaks through ancient and modern prophets, but also speaks to us daily when we read the holy scriptures. I see God when people repent to people, when people forgive people and when the complexity of our own human brains take the time to build his Kingdom in daily actions. "And the Lord called his people Zion, because they were of one heart and one mind, and dwelt in righteousness" Moses 7:18–19.
That's definitely my scripture.

God blessed us all, we are all humans.

O Remember, Remember That These Things Are True

Ever since I was born I went to the LDS church whether I was brought there in the arms of my parents or I just went on my own. I was raised to the LDS church. It just always felt right being there and singing "I am a child of God" and learning more about him and his son Jesus Christ. But as time went on into my teenage adolescent years of life I really did wonder if the church I was attending really was the true church of God on the earth.

I got told many times that I needed to read the Book of Mormon and pray about it but I just never did it until one day I did and I knelt down in sincere prayer asking God if these things were true. I didn't receive an immediate answer and it kind of upset me but I kept on keeping on and read the Book of Mormon everyday until I reached Mosiah chapter 2 verse 41 which says" And moreover, I would desire that ye should consider on the blessed and happy state of those that keep the commandments of God. For behold, they are blessed in all things, both temporal and spiritual; and if they hold out faithful to the end they are received into heaven, that thereby they may dwell with God in a state of never-ending happiness. O remember, remember that these things are true; for the Lord God hath spoken it. " when i read these words it was as if God himself was speaking to me and telling me "remember that these things are true" it was a definite answer to my prayer and I knew right then and there that the Book of Mormon was true and the church that it belonged to was true as well.

My Happiest Three Years

Jesus Christ is real. Heavenly Father is real. I know they are. Even though I’ve only really gotten to know them over the last three years, I know that they’ve been there for me for my whole life on this earth and even before it. They are my family.

God places people we need in our paths to help us along our way. I only need to look around me to realise that his plan is true and that I know where I’m going thanks to Him and His son. The atonement of Jesus Christ is amazing and words can’t describe how thankful I will forever be for it.

The plan is simple but the path can be difficult. I can testify of the phrase “Heavenly Father could not split the Red Sea without rocking a few boats.” I can testify that I need my trials, I need them to get closer to Heavenly Father. He knows me by my name and he has placed me where I am for a reason. I know that families can be eternal and that everything will be okay.

I might have only known them for three years, but it’s the happiest I have ever been. I know this gospel is true and I love it with everything in me (even when I’m stumbling).

My Sacrifices, His Sacrifices

When I was younger, I made some big sacrifices. I stayed home with my family every Sunday while my friends ran around the neighborhood together, I shared my favorite toys with my younger sister, and once a month I even had to go without a few meals. These sacrifices required a lot of self discipline, and sometimes even seemed impossible to make. Because I was young, my focus was on how hard the tasks in front of me were, rather than how they were strengthening my faith in the Lord and leading me one step closer to Him.

During Christ’s mortal life, he did everything for us. He taught people truth and was a perfect example for us to follow. When I think back on what seemed like the biggest sacrifices I could make, I can’t help but appreciate how much more significant Christ’s sacrifices were. He experienced every struggle, every heartache, and every grief of ours, so that we can be free and return to our Heavenly Father. He did that all for us.

When I follow Christ’s teachings, I feel a deeper happiness than any other worldly satisfaction can provide. My life is better, my relationships are stronger, and my trials seem less challenging when I adopt Christ-like attributes.

He Is My Friend

Jesus is the Christ! He who was chosen from before the foundations of this world to redeem all who would believe on His name. He is our Savior, our Creator, and our Friend! He is my Friend! The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is His and is the only true and living church upon the face of this Earth. It is the only one with the priesthood authority of God. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God, and is true! It is evidence to the restoration of the gospel of Jesus Christ and this church being His, and evidence that Joseph Smith was a prophet called of God. There are prophets on this earth again, for truly God is the same yesterday, today, and forever and works in the same manner! If we will go to the Lord and ask Him if these things are true He will manifest the truth of it unto us by the power of the Holy Ghost! I know it!

The One Who Answers

One certain day I found myself in a deep conversation with an old and wise man who had a profound knowledge of philosophy. He spoke about the thousands of religions in the world, each with their own idea of God. He asked a question that intrigued me. “With all these differing God’s, how do you know which one in the only true God?”

I began to ponder my own experience with God and religion. I was born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I was accustomed to praying with my family, studying the scriptures, and attending church. However, up until my teenage years, I did most of these acts because I was expected to, not because I had my own testimony.

Gaining my own personal testimony was simple. I began to read the scriptures with real intent, truly desiring to know if God was real and if I was a member of His church. I also began to pray with a sincere heart and ask for answers to my questions. Before long, I received an answer from my Heavenly Father.

I now know that I have a Heavenly Father who loves me. I know I have a savior, Jesus Christ, who atoned for my sins and the sins of the world. Through His gospel, we can learn to experience life with happiness and love. I know that we can return to live with our Father in Heaven, Jesus Christ, and our families, for all eternity. I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the restored Church here on the earth.

“With all these differing God’s, how do you know which one in the only true God?”

I replied simply, “There is only one true God, the one who answers when you ask”.

I Know

I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the only true and living church on the Earth. I know that God has restored that church today through his prophet Joseph Smith. With the restoration, the priesthood power was also restored and I know that through that we can be with our families for time and all eternity. I know that today, we have prophets and apostles that receive revelation to guide and help us in our daily lives. I know that Jesus Christ is my savior and redeemer and that through him I can become clean from sin and one day defeat death like he did.
